Hi, I'm Square Miruooter and welcome to Golf Around. This is the initial menu screen, boasting several options, so let's go through these from the top. Play This displays the current menu screen. Customise Here you can definitely vajazzle your ball. Colour Change the colour, choices cover the rainbow and then some. Hat. Add a decorative little piece to your ball. These are unlocked as you play through the game. Some of the more rare ones, such as the top hat, they're a bit of a mystery on how they're unlocked. Trail. Add some sparkle in your life or show your flair. These again, unlock in different manners the same way as the hats do. Just to quickly show you how this works, we're going to build a bear. Easy as that. Moving into the options menu. Keyboard option allows you to change certain bindings for all of the controls within the game. The mouse sensitivity and also orientation if you want it to be inverted. The audio you can change the volume up, down, ambient, sounds and the actual ball effects. Video to change the resolution and the quality type. To return to the main menu just simply click on the play option again. Click on the exit button will close the game. Clicking on the exit button will close the game. Returning back to the main menu screen, the three game options we have are Lobby, this will allow you to create a network game with your friends or with people that are currently online. Clicking menu returns you back to the main menu. Solo, this allows you to set up a game to play on your own. And there's also the editor. This will allow you to then create the maps, but we'll go into that later on another video. The remaining options on the screen are to join the Discord server, access the Steam Workshop, set your language, import files for when you're actually going to create new maps in the editor, and to also set the region. Okay, so we're going to just quickly drop into a quick solo. In here we can actually change some settings if we want to, so we can change it from charge mode to swing, golf mode to race mode, change the timer, how many strokes there is in a round if you want the balls to be able to jump, turn on and off collision, it's only any use with actual other opponents, random spawns, that changes your location on the map when you first start. Ball shape, you can have a whole plethora of different types. Known that some of those options do change the game and the physics don't work very well together. Extreme mode, this is where you can actually change the HUD how much is actually displayed. Off means that the HUD is on. On reduces the HUD down, super turns everything on the HUD off and obviously we've got reset mode for if you want to replace the ball right back to the beginning if you come off the map or say to the last shot that you took and then free camera if you want to have a quick look around the map before you actually play it. To set a map all you have to do is click on the actual large photo. As you can see the actual game ships with 10 standard official maps and then what you can do is go to the workshop and download over I think it's around a thousand maps currently. We're going to stick with the ones that are built in. And here we go. The mouse actually moves the movement left and right holding left click down and moving the mouse forward sets how powerful your shot will be and then it's just a case of mixing the two together to get it close or in the hole standard golf rules not that difficult. an an is I would rate Golf Around 7 out of 10. Brilliant little game, cheap and cheerful, has an editor for longevity, great community behind it and it's amazing to play with friends. Definitely one to put in your steam library. Thank you for watching, I'm Squamiruta and this was Golf Around. See you in the next one. ♪♪
