Howdy there, LT Gamers, my name is Tom and welcome back to our channel. Today we continue to explore the vast world of gaming and we have something special in store for you. This is a new game for the channel called Mercury Fallen and it has been captivating me for the past two weeks and it is a sci-fi base building game that has some very peaceful and unique elements to it. So let's jump in but first of course the mandatory if you enjoy our content leave us a like, really would like a comment to know your thoughts on the game or what you see and if you like it and of course consider subscribing to the channel and following our journey as we go and build over this year. Alright let's jump into it now. In Mercury Fallen you find yourself in quite a unique and incredible scenario. Picture this, a group of colonists sent to a distant planet only to awaken from malfunctioned stasis capsules and realizing that the once pristine underground facility you were in has fallen into ruin. Now there is one developer on Mercury Fallen, so it's a sole project and it's named by a named Tim, and he has created this relaxed sci-fi colony management experience, with a really strong emphasis on exploration, expansion and story progression. One thing I would say is that you really have the freedom in this game to set your own pace, there's nothing really threatening or any mechanics hanging over you that are time dependent and it allows you to unfold it at your own pace. Now for some people that might be bad, for others good. I really found it relaxing and enjoying in that sense. So your journey begins as you deconstruct the old facility and you breathe new life into it by constructing new rooms, uncovering hidden secrets and through research and discoveries you unlock new technologies and expand both above ground to the surface and underground as well as you dig deeper. Now the pace is quite slow with the research or at least I found in my constructions so you know it is very much one to be patient with as you slowly unfold and cut and come back to over time. Mercury Fallen is currently in early access I think that's very important to say and it's also of note that while the majority of content is available the game is not fully feature-complete. So as a solo developer Tim has poured his heart and soul into crafting this experience and he's inviting players to join him on his journey and the emphasis would be on the journey As if you expect a fully fledged complete game right from the off, this is probably not one for you. Whereas if you want to kind of invest in a game and see it develop as it goes, I think Tim is on a very good path and his dedication is shining through as he actively listens to the community and incorporates their feedback to shape the game. So it is a testament to his commitment to delivering this exceptional gaming experience. And I must say I looked through the forums and I saw whenever bugs or game breaking experiences are reported he acts very hastily to kind of fix and remedy these as much as he can within his remit. So I would say you're joining Tim on this adventure as he continues to develop Mercury Fallen and you can witness the game evolve and grow with new features improvements and surprises as they unfold in the future. Now like in any time I feature a game I think it's always good to take a little bit of a look on the other side, so what are the critiques. I would say right now the game is lacking maybe from this fight element, I don't mean literal fighting, though there could be one avenue, but there's no fight for survival or real risk of failure. And so I found myself very comfortable at all times during the game. Occasionally I would run out of a certain resource, have to panically try to figure out how to make it. But overall there's no real stress on the player. That may be a good thing, that may be a bad thing. That's up for the gamer to decide but I think it's important to highlight that. Also I would say that I think there sometimes is a little sparse on the content side of things so I did find myself kind of cruising at times whereas if there were some more scenarios and a bit more random trigger events that made the difficulty a bit more and add things I had to deal with on the fly, that might add a bit of an element of challenge to the game. But overall I think the critiques are pretty minor and I did enjoy my experience for the most part. So how to sum this all up for you here at LC Gaming. Mercury Fallen is a peaceful sci-fi comedy management game and I think it's good to say that it has been expertly handled and crafted by the solo developer Tim. It's relaxed gameplay and emphasis on exploration and expansion at quite a sedate pace offers a very captivating experience that keeps you immersed and I certainly was immersed during the time of this review. So if you want to kind of rebuild your Fallen base and expand and slowly uncover the mysteries of this alien world Mercury Fallen is really a journey you will want to take part in. And the emphasis will be on the journey part of that, because like I said, as it is a solo developer it's in early access, this being regularly updated but it very much will be a journey. So that's it for today, LTGamers. If you've enjoyed the video, don't forget to like and subscribe and hit the notification bells to keep informed of our content.
